Help! Rim Opinions - Down to Two!!!

Thanks for everyone's comments regarding my car. I am in the market for some new 18' rims and after hours and hours of research and finding a rim that is lightweight, good quality, and in my price range....I am down to these two. My fiance and I are debating which ones would look better on my 99 Black Accord Coupe - so this is where you guys & gals come in.

My choices are down to the Gram Lights by Ray's. They are as follows:

1. Gram Lights RC57 (not sure of the weight) Color: Mercury Silver

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Displ...t+Silver+Paint

2. Gram Lights 57S-Pro (lightweight about 19.6 lbs each) Color: Grey Silver

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Displ...2FAnodized+Lip

Sorry, I would post a pic of them both - but can't because I am not allowed to post attachments. If someone could throw them up there...that would be great. I was going to get the Volk GT-7's, but they are way to expensive and with the extra money I save, I can do some other things to my car.

PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S OPINION.........

Thanks Taospec - My fiance was telling me that she likes those better - but I thought the 57S-Pro's would look better because my car is black and the grey with the chrome lip might stand out better.......anyone else?

I like both of them. I would go with the 57spro though. Alot of the AV6's I see have 5 spokes, sure they look great, but it's all to common.

you have a good taste on choosing rims AccordJ30.

Between those two wheels above, i would personaly go for Gram Lights 57S-Pro. 5 spokes looks nice and all, but i think the design of the spokes are kinda thin and it'll show the living hell of your rotors/calipers. it'll be nice if you have big brake kit to show it off. Therefore ... i chose the Gram Lights 57S-Pro

57S-Pro. I agree with Whumbachumba that the 5 spokes on the accord it too common. We should start a 7 spoke wheels made by Rays

do any of you ppl back your decision with reason? i will.

my vote: rc57
my reason: you have to buy a centercap with the 57s', and the only centercap offered is a rays centercap. rays centercap on a gramlight wheel? wtf? also, do you honestly want that fruity blue writing on your wheel? i dont think so. also, compare the shape of each. the 57s looks like its swashed in paint, while the rc57 looks like its raw and precisely machined. if you dont believe me, just check out the "g" engraving. and another thing, yes, 5 spokes are the stock alloys on the av6 but around here, 7 spokes are on EVERYTHING. its a motegi mr7 epidemic here. it was previously mentioned that the 5 spokes would look better with an upgraded brake system. which is cheaper? getting the rc57's and then buying a big brake kit; or getting the 57s', getting a big brake kit, then buying a set of rc57's cause they would look so much better with the big brake kit? and if you say you arent going to buy a big brake kit, ill kick ya in the mouth, cause we all know that once you have the modifying bug, it cant be stopped. lol

thats my $.02
who dares to defy my logic?
:P

Wow Hites, never expected some much passion in a response...but thanks!!! Alright, so I finally got the weight of the RC57's....they weight 20 lbs each. Here are the final prices I got on both:

57S Pro - 19.6 lbs - Cost: 1,224.42
RC57's - 20 lbs - Cost: $1,408.00

X-Locks $19.95 for all four....not sure of the brand - but am going to need some locks for the babies.

Great points Hites - looks like we have a winner.......!!!!!!!1

Alright, thanks everyone for your opinion. I want to give a special thanks to Hites- thanks for pointing out a few things I didn't even notice. I will be purchasing the RC57's....they should look pretty sweet. I guess my next thing would be a big brake kit - but it will all depend on how the rims look with my cross drilled rotors and my painted red calapers. I will post some pics when this is all done .......
