I hope you dont think that the Bose speakers will be able to play using the stock 6gen HU. Size wise they are a direct fit, but impedence-wise they are not. Bose speakers are about 1.57-2ohms per coil in which a special amplifier which is EQ'd to death plays it.

Just pickup some brands that are mentioned countless times here and you'll be set

I believe i'm getting the stock CL-S amplifier as well. Will that work or would I be better going aftermarket?

nope. I was "thinking" about getting the BOSE speaker and the CL-S amplifier for a good price, but I'll probably reconsider now

illusion: Do you know the specs for the indash OEM Honda 6-disc changer? Does it have a nice internal amplifier? Does it sound clean? i was debaing between it or a Alpine MP3 unit. Any opinions?

Although will a CL-S HU be a direct bolt in? I would possibly pick that up as well

Either way if I don't get the CL-S speakers. I'll get around to installing a set of Infinity CS up front for my highs powered by a small A/B amp and just run the rears off the HU.

Pleaes help me...

This is the most intelligent thing you said in this entire thread. Go this route. The hassle of custom modifying the CL-S HU into an accord with the attachment of the EQ & Amp...(behind the CL-S HU are two harnesses, one for power/ground/speakers and the other for the EQ torture chamber...) wont be worth it.... you'll get great sound with add on aftermarket speakers, amp

Infinity reference/kappa are a good choice.
Pickup a small amp running around 50-70 watts rms 2 channel and leave your rears powered by the stock HU. JBL, hifonics, visionik, us acoustics, JL "e" series are all good budget-priced amps to look out for
