Need help on my kit

i have a black 01 accord. i am thinking about spray painting my kit..i already did fiberglassing,bondo-ing, sanding, primering and sanding...but for the painting should i just send it to a paintshop to get em painted or just use the metallic spary paint? kreagens got some metallic spary paints..and they've got some paint CODEz to match my car color; like nighthawk black pearl. but iono if i should trust spray paint or not.. need some opinions! thanks

Spray paint? You mean the paint that comes out of a can? Never.

You spent lots of time and money getting everything to fit, why cheap out on the paint job?

you can definately spray paint it. a lot of people do it but they do it wrong. i do most of my painting with a rattle can, but you have to be really patient with it. heres what you do:

make sure youve got the whole thing primed and sanded so it is perfectly smooth with no dips or dents.
spray one ultra light coat (even if it doesnt cover every spot of the kit)
wait for the paint to dry (about 10 minutes)
do another coat, slightly heavier but still very light.
wait another 10 minutes
continue making very light coats but gradually get heavier.
as the coats get heavier, wait another 5 minutes on top of the last time between coats
lastly, make one coat that is medium, so that the paint shones as its drying and lookks smooth.
dont forget to add about 3-5 clear coats after the paint.

It's inevitable that something will happen to the paint and body kit. Scratches, rock chips, and cracks from daily driving.

I'm just telling you that its going to look like crap if you spray paint it.
