Mugen front lip install

i just got the lip in the mail today. after sanding it, priming and painting im almost ready to install but wait! i dont have a freaggggggggggn clue how!

has anyone ever installed a front lip?

You posted in the correct sub-forum.

Your first mistake was painting the lip before test fitting it. Depending on the lip, you can predrill a hole or two in each side and then secure it with some black screws.

1st of all, thnx for some direction!

when you predrill those holes in the lip itself.........is that going to be more towards the tire wells on the very sides and against the bumber itself?

i only got 2 mounting brackets and no instructions. your helps much appreciated

Yes, towards the lip on the bumper near the gravel guard and tire well.

All you'll need to do is mount the lip, and drill directly into the lip and through the bumper. Make sure the hole is positioned so that the head of the screw will be pointing back towards the wheel.

No problem. You'll find that this is a different (in a good way) online community.

You can also mount it from the bottom with the brackets you received. There really isn't a "wrong way" to mount it from below, just as long as the brackets are out of sight.

you also might want to put some 3m double sided tape in that middle part that sits on top of the bumper.

ill get the dbl sided tape that sounds like a good idea.

also wondering if anyone knows where to get more specific and detailed installation instructions. I just dont wanna screw up my car.
