Has any one...

Has any one retrofit MDX projectors in to the accord head light?

I saw this and it looks like a good projector

hmmm....i didn't know MDX had HIDs. those bezels look good. it's worth a shot...i think you'd be the first and i don't see why they wouldn't work.

check on HIDPlanet...someone there might have done it.

The current MDX doesn't have HIDs. The 2001-2004 model have regular halogen headlights with a reflective housing. For the 2005-2006 model, Acura restyled the headlights and put a projector in front of the bulb.

plus its got a fresnel lens, which most people want to avoid for cutoff and colr purposes blah blah its been discussed before lol.. same reason why people search (and pay dearly for) for early tsx projectors. while im posting, im curious though--would halogen projectors work with hid bulbs? i mean, they physically fit together, but would the hid bulb work well in the halogen projector? anyone ever tried it?

i don't think you get the right beam pattern or cutoff. look @ the pics from people who put HID kits into their TYC projectors. those are HIDs in halogen projectors. they get hot spots, spots with no light, and some just don't get the right output period.
