better get new longer bolts too! also make sure u check the coolant hoses attached to the aftermarket intake... i had to get some longer coolant hoses and remount the AEM sri cuz its bout 1inch longer... this is one of the best mods for the v6 , i like that hissing sound when u punch the gas... i like to drive beside a car and punch the gas, ease off, punch, ease off,etc... sort of tease them that u got a turbo going

Reading this makes me want one again. I heard that they are bad for some reason ( The Helix ones). You do like yours? Can you feel a difference in performnace with that and the SRI? Why does it sound like a turbo?

EDIT: I am goign to have the EXact same intake too (polished and all)

well i dont know much bout turbo noises cuz ive never driven a turbo car ... but this spacer mod(i have the OBX version off ebay) will make ur v6 car 'stand out', if u want that 'metallic hissing, spooling sound' then sure go for it! its a very unique sound... very rare for a car to have this sound lol ... the thing is u gotta PUNCH the gas ON,OFF,ON,OFF to have the best effect i think, just play around with the rpm ranges and gears to maximize the sound u want.... (best is 3rd gear at 3000rpms)... i don't really think it adds much in performance but i cud b wrong... maybe 2 more WHP max lol??? it sure doesn't decrease performance
if u have catback/exhaust and headers it gonna mask this spacer sound tho...
