car dies

so i was on my way home the other night and i stopped at Mcdonalds and my car just shut off while it was on runing. right at the drive through window to make it any worse. so i brought it to the honda dealership and they tested the alternator the starter and the battery and they found nothing wrong . and the car just started right up for them. does anyone have a clue what could've been wrong. possible loose connection somewhere?

sounds like a loose connection. if it's not a loose connection, the metal things at the end of the positive or negative connections leading to the battery is badly corroded. just clean off or scratch up to get some clean metal and tighten up and you should be fine.

That was judgement day for your car and it met the grim reaper and go so scared off its diapers that it just shut off. It wasn't tired as previously speculated but just scared ****less..

I was reading this and thought, damn hope it never happens to me, then I remembered something. I had the car for about a week ( bought it used @ 55k miles) and remember I was riding around with my friends and turned into a parking lot ( side road) and my car turned off goign about 20 MPH. I just turned into the parking lot and popped my hood. I saw no corrosion, smelled nothing burning, nothing looked wrong. I started the car back up and it has never done it again. In fact I had completely forgotten about it and it was like a month or 2 ago. It was odd as anything....
