another thing!

i know i alrady asked this but i only got an opinion from one person....
if i got 18x7.5 rims, what would be the best tire size (???/??/18) for daily driving, and one that would look good (not too thick, not too thin)
i plan to drop my car 2 inches
please help!!

225.40.18 is the best tire size for acceptable everyday driving

if i remember correctly, the 114.3 and the 100 are a measurement of the lugs. i cant remember if it is the distance from the center of the wheel to the lug or the diameter, but its a measurement. civic and tegs and smaller cars usually have 4x100 or 5x100, larger ones go with 4x114 and 5x114, but there are other sizes. the german cars all have sizes slightly larger than 5x114

nah bro, u kinda missed it, but i dont know if i explained it well...all cars have a set lug pattern, they come from the factory that way. 5x114 is our lug pattern, understand?

our cars have 5 lugs (the V6), and they measure 114, which is where u get 5x114.3

so no matter what, you need a rim that has a 5x114.3 lug pattern. not 5x100, not 5x119, 5x114.3 and thats it.

5x114.3 means that there are 5 lugs within a 114.3 mm distance. 5x100 is 5 lugs within 100mm span. As KCMC was saying, all cars have a set pattern. Just because one car has 5 lugs doesnt mean that the rims will fit all 5 lug cars.
