What rear wing is this?

Because our cars have the slanted deck, which makes most spoilers look like trash (especially the dinky OEM one, compared to the big ass of our car), I figure that the only spoilers that would look good are those ones with the little metal attatchments that lift a wing above or whatever. I like the way this Accord's wing looks, it's from a Honda Tuning magazine. Can anyone tell me what model it is, and who makes it?

Thanks for your time.

No, I'm not kidding. The OEM wing looks ridiculously too small for our car, and it is all slanted and funky due to the back of the car being slanted downward. I've seen other wings too, and they all look funky because they're tilted back. Only thing that looks decently clean is a 3-piece, but that sh*t's heavy and the super smooth curves don't match the slight edgy-ness of our car. You have a four-door, which looks good with the OEM wing. The coupe does not. So any idea what the wing is?

I believe it creates thousands of pounds of downforce also, great for keeping or high poweerd fwd machines stuck to the ground.

In all seriousness though... It doesnt look half bad on a fully done up car like that. But if you got a stock car, its equivelant to a flava flave watch on a mormon (wow that was a horrible analogy but you get the point)

RICE

**** son I didn't know they flew Accords.

Unless your car is in the JGTC that spoiler will look pretty nasty on the back IMO.

I actually love the oem wings. That thing though, totally ugly. I have yet to ever see an aftermarket wing that doesnt make a car look totally ricey.

You are looking at the proverbial "whale-tale" spoiler, it's made out of carbon fiber and used to cost $1,300.00 It's manufacturer is no longer in business because they realized that they couldn't sell crap like that.

RIP Wings West

Wow, way to go with reading comprehension and being a jerk... you lose. And the car pictured it's so ugly, that it was on the cover of a magazine in the past, and was added into the one I posted the picture from afterwards.

Thanks to the guys who were cool, didn't turn into total f*ck-tards, and helped me find out what wing it was. I didn't know it had that huge single stand/bracket/whatever... so it's not going onto my buy list. *Sighs*

hey, there are similar wings with 2 stands. if you dont care whether it's carbon fiber, then just search google or ebay "GT wing" or "GT spolier".

there are a few different designs very similar to the one u're looking for.

Cool, thanks for the info bro. I'll be doing that. Just hope that because it's from eBay, that it doesn't go flying off into whoever is behind me's windshield when I'm on the highway. I plan on getting a Carbon Fiber trunk first, though... is it safe to drill holes and put spoilers on those?

You'll want the CF to be heavily reinforced. Anyways, there are too many M3 lip wings. especially on those m3s! lol!

i like seeing those wings on cars with goofy body kits. why? cause they produce so much m4d downforce, they push them into their graves which coincidentally, is where they belong.

Wow, all these jokes about tons of downforce on the rear end. I doubt they give that much, and if they do actually give some... it'll help with the sharpies since it relieves some of the front end heaviness of our 65/35 weight distribution cars. But everyone is too busy hating to think about that... or concerned with going in straight lines only. Go figure that whoever's car that is, is probably faster than most of the people's cars on this forum.

(Disclaimer: I may be wrong, as I'm just using common sense and general physics estimates... but I think that even in my wrongness, I'm right for calling people on their lame posting.)

You obviously have a flawed sense of physics.

1. By adding downforce to the rear of the vehicle, it doesn't make the front end lighter
2. When was the last time you were on a high speed GP or F1 course and you were having issues keeping your rear end stuck to the pavement? Maybe you should bolt that monstrosity to your hood so that it will give you more traction and help prevent understeer

Thrid, that's Jack's car...it has 220whp, and you are right. But that is a show car and the primary reason why it has that thing, do you think he actually tracks his work of art on a regular basis?

Go to wingswest.com and enter your make, model, year and select 'spoilers'.
I prefer the 2DR type "R" style, but, and this might be a shocker, it is your car and you should put whatever style spoiler you want on it.

i liek the m3 lips for the sedans. subtle, yet still there and gives the rear a little more style, that the sedans could use. ive also seen a Mugen spoiler on the rear of a sedan, looks awesome, TJP has it, its great. for the coupes tho, i dont really like anything other then OEM, if nothing at all. shaved trunk FTW, haha.

No, I have a coupe, the other people have sedans. Anyway, that's a pretty hot set-up you got there. I still think that small spoiler would look out of place on my coupe's big fat butt. *Guesses that's a Xenon body-kit?*
