It doesnt necessarily make it sound louder, just cleaner because there will be minimal parts vibrating throughout the car.

Love that set up man. Did you do that fiberglass work?

yea i had the entire trunk and back seat out for about a week, was really weird driving to work everyday like that........i can definately tell a difference w/ the dynamat, makes the sub even cleaner, and nothing rattles like before when i had some alpine type-r's the back deck was the worse

No i didnt fiberglass the enclosure, a buddy of mine from h.s. has his own business now.....i got to run all the wires and dynamat, that stuff was worth it, but it was so hot last couple weeks when i was working on it.

ANOTHER ton , lol .. Looks clean & custom I like it alot .. My car doesn't rattle at all & I got mad bass, but I'm sure it will be a different story when I get everything I need for my 13.5 JL W7 .. Alpine Type R's arent all that, My RockfordFosgate HX2 pounds way harder than my 12" Type R, by far.. But Im sure every last rattle was taken care of with that much dynamat ..

sweet...the fiberglass design is awesome...you design it yourself or just give somebody else freedom to do what they wanted?
