Neons

I'm just curious on who has done neons to their car. Most specifically, under seats and underbody.

Pics would be cool too. I've been thinking about doing neons, but I have a white car and it would probably look kind of weird.

I believe if its done right, it can look nice as opposed to a crappy riceboy look. My friend has green neons on his eclipse and they actually look pretty damn nice.

And if your gonna flame, dont bother replying. :-)

Since your car is white, I think you could do any color scheme really. It all depends on what you have now. Personally I love blue and red, thats it. I had blue neons in my old civic underneath the dash and under my seats. I loved the way it looked. I am even considering on doing it with my accord as well. As far as putting neons on the outside of the car, I wouldnt recommend it. To me thats played out and more importantly, its a cop magnet. Its not worth it. If I can find some pics I'll post them later.

Well blue neons outside are illegal here in Ohio. So I was actually thinking of doing a red scheme. Cause theirs not many colors that go that great with white. Though I could also do white neons inside, but that would be as cool.

I know I want to do neons underseat/dash and what not. I was just thinking about underbody too. Like I said before, if its done right. It can look pretty sweet imo. Though, chances are I wont bother. :-p

ive got 2 9 inch green neons under my dash, and i hooked up 2 6 inch green neons to my trunk light (disconnected the actual trunk light) and the ones in the trunk come on when the trunk is popped. the ones under my dash i have wired to a hidden switch. looks good at night. my car is dark emerald pearl, so thats why i opted for green neons. i didnt put any on the outside tho, i dont really like that look. and yes, you can see the passenger side one a little, it sucks, haha, i hate it, theirs barely any room up under there.

^^ I like the white very much! Just a thought though... I think your gauges might be a bit nicer if you took the two t74 base bulbs out of the top of your cluster.

I have Liteglow Led underbody on mine...just look at pictures of nittanys..mine look the same..then i have 2 red 20" tubes inside...oh and if your going to do red outside, that is illegal too..both red and blue are illegal...I haven't used my underbody neons though in about a year or so...not even sure if they work still

I know in most states that the glow is legal, but when it comes to the flashing, pulsing, rotating, strobing...then it becomes illegal

No, I actually asked a police officer about it. In ohio, the only illegal outside neons are blue. Red is actually legal. And all colors are legal inside the car. Though strobes and flashing neons are also illegal.

I think down the road when I get some money I might do the red underbody and red under the seats/dash and so on.

Well, the led site has a 7 color kit for $99. Which I think is a pretty damn good deal compared to Streetglows 7 color which is $250 or something. I actually just wanted to get one color, but on there its like $80 for one color. So, I figure. What the hell? Extra 10 bucks for 6 more colors is a good deal. Though I mainly just want red and white. It will be cool to have the other colors to play with.

So, when I get the money. I think i'm gonna take the dive and go for it.

Here's the kit I'm looking at...

http://www.ledunderbody.com/index.as...PROD&ProdID=11

Has a lot better features then my friends streetglow too.

Well, I made the plunge. I bought them and installed them a few days ago with my friends. I must say that I absolutly love the kit. It looks great on the white car and I have had many compliments on them. Some even from kids who hate undercar kits.

Even 2 of my friends in their domestics said it looks awesome.

On my car, the best color look wise happens to be green. But I can say, when Im not going anywhere, I do like to put on the sound activation and let it switch colors. It looks awesome to see the lights flashing with the music.
