Ebay's your best bet. Plus the no brand hoods tend to crack if you get hoodpins but the higher quality and brand name products tend to come with better quality UV Clearcoat and are strong enough with the stock existing hood latch.

there is a big difference between the coupe and sedan hoods. Look at where the hood bulges from the sides to the middle. With the sedan its almost like a crease while for the coupe its rounded. Just installed my cf hood the other day, one of the easiest mods i ever installed

does the i4 and v6 coupes both have same exact hoods??? meaning a CF hood will fit both cars the "same'??? or they use different size hoods?

The motor doesn't matter, just the fact whether it's a coupe or a sedan.

ok now that i got my hood on and i un-installed the hood dampers. I was looking at where a hood prop from an i4 would sit in the v6 engine bay. Doesnt the radiator and the radiator hose get in the way of the hood prop when you have it folded down?

sorry to change the topic a lil bit, but i had a question for cf hood owners, a WIERD question lol

A few girls are going to model for my car, i'm just wondering, if a girl (say 115-120 lbs) were to lay across my cf hood, it would support her? I wont' damage the hood having girls laying across it? lol

it would probably crack if she stood on top of the hood.

just have have lying down over the hood to spread the weight around, lean over by the fender or something..

it might not crack it if she lays on it but it deff will "dent" in the carbon. I say "dent" because the hood will not looked dented but if you move around looking at the hood you will see impressions on the hood...i know cuz i pushed down on the wrong part of the hood to close it (like the 3rd time i ever closed it) and it has a nice "dent" of my palm in the hood....i cant get over it!!!

okay so the best thing would not to have her laying across but it leaning over the fender type pose.. Just wanted to make sure! i wouldnt' be able to look at my car if i ruined the hood ! lol

Aren't cf hoods supposed to be stronger than OEM though?
