yup..

mine barely had a very small opening and i got mine replaced with factory warranty right before it ended last year. hopefully my new one will last longer.

only thing you can do is rewrap with the oem pleather or something higher quality like suege or upgrade the entire seats.

ill look around my city , and see if i find anything, do you think HONDA dealer would be able to do anyting, even though its not under warranty no more, i still think they should be able to fix it for a reasonable amount of $$

most honda dealers are gonna send it out to an independant upholstery shop. Why don't u just head there yourself? i doubt honda is gona help you. i have the same rip so im debating about whether to fix it or get some racing seats. I also have a rip on the driver side airbag

actually, when i took mine out to fix. the sent either my car or my seats to some independent shop to get it redone. it ended up taking an extra day becuase they didnt have the honda pleather to replace it with. But yes, honda didnt fix it technically, some independent shop did. they told me this.

^^ yes.

I got a tear in my driver seat after about 6months getting the car...

Had the leather replaced immediately under warranty. So apparently it's a flaw even in my 2002 model

I have this rip, too.

But also, earlier today my seat went limp... I went into work and the car was fine. When I came back out to my car, the driver's seat was leaning against the rear seats. It won't stay up. Has this happened to anyone? I'm going to take the seat out tomorrow to see if it is repairable.

hate to bust your balls, but the passenger side are doomed for the same fate too. its just that the driver side gets sat on more than passenger.

get it rewrapped with suede...

if your just gonna rewrap the back side with the oem leather, you should do the whole seats, becuase you'll be able to tell the difference between the two.
