Recommend CF Trunk Brand Please...

Hello,

I'm aware of such brands as VIS RACING & C-WEST Carbon Fiber Trunk for 6th Gen Coupe...

I was wondering if there are more brands and which one do u recommend?

I've seen a VIS CF Trunk on a Civic...and no offense to anyone but it looked very misaligned...and the sides look really off, afraid of water leaking into.

Then I met with the Cameleon Purple Accord @ Battle of the Imports in the States and his looked very good!

And C-West has the one without the center tailight part. It looks great but I tend to keep the center lights.

In my preference...I wish to have a great quality one, each side has to be aligned perfectly...don't want to see a gap at all. No water leak preferred. My system can't take that.

Any good recommendations and even your "Good or Bad" opinions or feedback of quality.

Thanks guys!

^^ Yeah...that's what I thought too...hit or miss.

Just don't want to get a CF trunk that leaks water/poor fitment...last thing I want is to pop my trunk and see a fish tank with my system deep six'd...

Thanks for the reply though...anymore?

EDIT: Spelling

99CFENVYv6: May I ask u for a request>?

Could u take pic(s) of each side of the trunk when closed. The fitment? And post here...

Have u found any water leaks when washing vehicle?

Don't mean to make u do extra work but it's so hard to examine the pics from companies...they only show u the surface.

Thanks a bunch!!! By the way, very nice Accord!

i have a carbon creations trunk and so far its been horrible. The fitment is horrible and i had to modify the crap outa my center lights inorder for them to fit. No predrilled holes came w/ the trunk so i had to do that as well, i was considering selling mine and going w/ a VIS. i try and post some pics as well

Yes, I remeber something about cutting the center area where the center light sits and all the bulb wiring has to be.

Take your time with the pics...not trying to rush u...but just wish to see upclose pics of a decent CF trunk.

Thanks again, bro...

Hmm...almost forgot about the ED one.

Good looking out, friend...can I ask about the sides?

Any leakage? And how's the quality? Got pics?

Thanks again.

Anyone purchase their C/F trunk from grounddynamics.com, just wondering what brand theirs is? If so, have you had problems with it?

Man, I wouldnt put it off your list...I had to wait a while for mine, but it fits fine, and the weave is straight plus the finish is smooth....i dont see a reason NOT to get one

well most owners are giving negative inputs on their trunks so I dont know. It is a big purchase for me seeing how I'm a fulltime student so yeah.
