chrome any 1????

ok, i've got a friend who will be starting up a chroming business with'in the next 6-8 months. he just has finish up some details with the supplier and parent company.
well to the point, ive been speaking with him about chroming my IM and was wondering if there was any interest? the more interest there is the lower i can get the pricing!!! also considering offering them with custom boring, and internal polishing. this is just the poliminary check so please seriously consider.
i know any mods for the AV6 is needed. needed bad, but i don't want to invest or setup this project with out your input.

wouldn't the top look good chrome?????

please if you have any input post. i'm on almost daily. i've got other idea's for a intake kit, but first thing first. please respond.

he's all up for it. (business) i should be able to work out good pricing, but like every thing else, support is necessary. i've worked out many details with him already, and i was a machinist before i became a welder and have all equipment available or am good friends with one of the best engine machine shops in my area. so all modifications will be precision, not just using a dremel (which is fine if you know what your doing). i'm looking into a pc dyno program so i can just load the engine and put in all modifications and get an estimated result (performance #'s) (yes it's a little more complicated than that but thats the short of it)

i'll not discuss pricing of any kind till i see what kind of responce i get.
so please only seriouse reply's.

like i said, the more people interested the better the price, i might be able to work out a group buy if the interest is there. but all of that later.

I'm thinking about polishing my IM, if your buddy has the right price, I would consider shipping it out.

i was considering getting IM's myself putting a core charge (returned when you sent me your IM) and doing it to order. this way you wouldn't have to go with out you car, longer then it would take you to change them out, it would also be 50% up front + core, just so i would know you were seriouse, just like most any other custom job. when i get mine done i'll post pic's.( read 1st post for when)

Interested, I have an extra IM, but will there be any discoloration after a while??? I ask cuz I've seen some shoddy chrome jobs (I have no idea how they were botched).

i know that this method of chroming can withstand a constant 450degrees but i'll look into the possibility of this. i hadn't thought of that. thanks for bringing it to my attention.

also remember this is still a ways off, but i need to know the interst. i'll answer any ?'ins i can and find out the answer for any i don't know.
thanks
