Elegante By TYC Tail Lights...

Hey guys,

I am thinking of picking up a pair of these tail lights for my 2001 Accord EX V6 Coupe.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-02...52846973QQrdZ1

I am wondering just how to paint these white to match my car. I have painted the
interior of my car white but I am not sure how to go about painting the tail lights since they will be on the outside of my car.

Thanks for the help...

James

The tail lights come with 2 sets of trim pieces; 1 black plastic and 1 plastic that looks like carbon fiber. Just prime/paint the black set like you would anything else and then screw the trim onto the tail lights... Good luck.

Texas Boy to Texas Boy, keep the oem tails. They look alot cleaner and you will eventually get tired of the tyc's cause they will start to make the car look cheap. that's my opinion though

i just think they look too busy on a accord. i used to like them when they came out, but now they just don't look as good as the oem tails. more of a stock or a modified stock look, looks the cleanest on an accord.

I am 100% against you guys. I hate the oem tails. Out of everything I have done to my car, I have got the most compliments on the tyc tails. I only like OEM on red accords. This is just my opinion.
