Anyone with aftermarket e-brake handle?

I bought one from ebay for 98-02 Accord E-brake handle. But it doesn't fit. I guess it's pretty universal. I contact the seller but no reply.. *****.. but i'm just wonder who has an e-brake handle on their 6th gen accord who could show me how you put it on? the bottom piece of the OEM e-brake is sticking out so i can't put it through unless i cut that piece of make a small line on my e-brake handle.
