Mesh grills

so i was driving to new york and my mesh grill for my front bumper flew off on the highway. lol, so i just got some replacement gutter guard fencing, and am ready to reinstall them, but i noticed my clips broke off the bumper.

what are the best items to use for the clips? i was planning on using something light but durable, and just use liquid nails to mount it on the bumper. maybe a lightweight L bracket with a cutout so i can ziptie the mesh grille.

any suggestions?

Zipties yeah that sounds nice lol .. Maybe cut little pieces of the wire & bend in an L shape & set it in an epoxy & let it harden in place for the back bottom side & you can bend to a hook & hook the mesh to the "hook" in place.. Do that for most of the botton section & rivets & the brackets for the top.. You could maybe use the epoxy hook trick for the whole thing, Espesially if its an aftermarket fiberglass bumper, but I dunno, Id have to be lookin at it..
