Nice, I didn't know my stock wheels and tires were so light . I was guessing that the combo weighed more like 40lbs. I know the stock 16" wheel/tire weighs about 43lbs, so the coupe must have quite a bit more rolling resistance than the sedan huh?

The 16" coupe wheels weigh about 42-43lbs with tire.

I'm assuming the alloys since steel wheels are heavier than alloy wheels of the same size.

hehe, sorry i deleted my first post cause i figured that had to be alloy.

Anyways, I went to look at some 2002 sedan V6 15" alloy wheels and those are still about 40 lbs tire, rim, air. I brought my own scale and that is no lighter than 15" steel wheels. Are the later ones heavier than the the 98-99?

I don't know The spokes on the '01-'02 alloy rims are a bit thicker so maybe they are heavier? Maybe you should look into some Mazda Millenia rims instead? Those bad boys are only 30lbs with tire

actually according to here;

http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...l=Honda+Accord

The steel rim weighs 18 lbs. I went to look at a seller for 15" 2002 EX wheels and tire+rim it still was about 40 lbs despite the fact the tires were almost bald.

I guess none of the honda OEM rims are light.
