Offset Question

98 honda accord v6
oem offset +55

what offset would fit on my car? can you name them all

lowered car about 1.5 front n 1 in back

i want 18x8 , with 215 tires, but i dont know what offset to pick.

On the conservative side, anything around +45 will work fine.

coupe or sedan?

Coupe with 18x8 with 215 can go to about +40 in the front. Kind of depends on your ride height and desired stance.

soo 18x8 offset 40, 215/40/18?
my car is lowered, with tein ss springs, but its not dump, its lowered enough, my fender doesnt pass my tires

offset has to do with how you want your stance. some people would consider others offsets poor, while they may think its perfect, its all up to you and how you want it.

i only run a +32 on a 18x8. i think its safe enough and still nice.


you must also remember the width of the wheel has to do with calculating your offset as well.

and 215/40 would be considered a stretch (sometimes depending on which tire brand you run), but if you run a high offset and dont need to stretch, then dont. get 225/40 if you are running a 18x8 +40 with a moderate drop

18x8 40 offset 3 1/2 inch drop with 215/40/18 or 225/40/18 ?? i had 18x7.5 42 offset with 225/40/18 tires but only rub on hard corner ... i want more agressif rims and i think its gonna look more clean
