new rim suggestion!

hey everyone.

I finally sold my old rims so im in the market for new ones.
I have a 01 black coupe. Im not sure what color to go with. i was thinking about: black with red lip, black with polished lip, hyperblack, or just like a hypersilver.

I just want you opinion on you like on black coupes.

pics would be great to.
Thanks, Anthony

Hmm...I think it would be easier if you told us your preferences first: What size/width are you interested in and what's your budget? Are you planning on ordering new wheels or are you looking for a deal on a used set? There's endless possibilities between just the color combinations you mentioned, so help us narrow down the options.

Okay, well first of all please get the 7.5" width out of your head. Your car's boosted, you need all the grip you can get...just being honest.

These are a bit over your budget, but still worth looking into: http://www.rbwheels.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1292

I'd also look into a set of the old RX-8 wheels (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...3A1|240%3A1318), take a look at Changaroo's car and you'll see that they look great on a black 6th gen coupe:

those do look pretty good, might be a cheap way of getting some 18s! HMMMMMMMMMMMM. Do they rub at all? anyone know the offset? They look bigger in the rear to me I dunno why. I def want to move up to 18s this summer, but I want to burn out the tires on my koseis first, make shipping rims so much easier!

Her wheels are different since she has an 09 R3, but the 04-08 rx-8 wheels are 18x8 +50 and weigh 22.5 pounds (not bad at all). For the price ($500-600 max), I don't think you'll find a nicer set. I even think a few of those sellers are local to save on shipping costs.

Check out slowaccord's wheels for sale though, he's got some nice sets lying around as well.

225s should be fine, what profile are they? I think those wheels will look great on your car Anthony...

I like gold mesh with a polish lip, but I would like to see the new time attacks, white with red lip and black lugs on a black coupe.
