Aftermarket wheel locks

Hey guys,

Do you know if these wheel locks would fit OEM wheels properly?

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/me...tegory_Code=L1

They're tapered for aftermarket wheels. I just don't want to run Honda OEM locks since they're so generic. I'm running Silverstars for my wheels. I'm just paranoid parking around my neighborhood and the public lots where I park for school. Thanks in advance.

No, they will not. OEM wheels are Acorn/Ball end lug nut. Those bully lock nuts you referenced are "CONICAL/TAPERED" for Aftermarket wheels and will not fit your OEM Silverstar wheels properly.

McGaurd seem to be pretty good...from what I've read.

** Just know this, if someone really wants those wheels they can remove locking nuts. Just search youtube and see how it is done.

Thanks Wheelman for the info. I just watched a couple videos and dang that's depressing how easy they can get them off. I figure getting locks would be a way to at least "try" to deter them from stealing my wheels. =D

I looked up Mcgard and their lock design is similar to the OEM locks, which is the hex design. I'm considering getting a spline design. I was looking around and Gorilla had the spline design that could be used for OEM wheels. Any thoughts on Gorilla?

Here's the design I'm looking at:

There's a choice of 3 different sets. The most expensive set is Heat treated Hardened steel. The others are just hardened steel. I'm guessing those heat treated won't round off and the spline would hold up better.

Search around and I bet you can find a better deal than Amazon for those heat treated.

I have Gorilla spline locks on each lug on my aftermarket wheels and installed Gorilla locks on each lug on the gf's Fit oem wheels too (38432N/38433N). These will fit your oem's. I really like them since they're shorter height than stock lug nuts thus a little harder to tamper with.
