P0336 Mystery

Y’all I’m stumped with my 2001. Chasing an engine code with no luck solving. P0336 “crank sensor circuit range performance.” I replaced the sensor, Checked wiring and I don’t notice anything wrong with it. Checked the ECU, Checked the connections and they were clean. No obvious problems as far as I can tell. Here’s the timeline. Bought the car in November 2019. Car drove fine the first few weeks. Got the timing belt replaced, new tensioner, new serpentine belt. Car was fine for a week or so. Got those custom lights, had to splice them into the running light wiring. After wiring the new lights up I took it for a drive and everything seemed to be fine. I get up the next morning and drive to work, and halfway there the car starts misfiring, acting odd. I put the car into neutral and it stalls. Doesn’t want to start back up. I push the car to the side of the road and keep trying to start it. Eventually it starts again and I put it in 2 and get to work as quick as I can. When I come to a stop in the parking lot of my work, check engine light pops on, and the RPM fluctuates before shutting it off. I borrow a code scanner from work and get a P1361 TDC sensor intermittent inturruption. Weird. After I get off work, it started up ok, made it all the way home, stalls again as I start rolling up my driveway it stalls. Check codes again and now I got that P0336 code too. I clean the connectors for the tdc sensor and it goes away. But I have been stuck with the 336 code for almost 2 months now. Starts cold. Warms up. As the rpm slowly goes down in the process of it warming up it Misfires, then it’ll either die or go into limp mode. If I shut it off, it won’t start back up unless I crank it for a really long time, or I wait until it’s cold again, then it starts again, same crap, warms up and dies/limp. Replaced the main relay and disconnected the DRL’s just to see if it would change anything and no luck. I’m stuck. Not sure what to do.

I'm no mechanic but I'll throw in my 2 cents...

Sounds like it is jumping timing. I wonder if something is worn out in the timing belt system causing timing to jump, like a worn out/loose bolt on the timing pulley?
