Hybrid mirror question

I just had a quick question. I just bought and installed hybrid mirrors for my 2007 accord and when I drive the mirrors vibrate (not the housing). The person I bought them from said that that's how they are. Have any of you guys experienced this? If so how can I fix it. Thanks guys

you can check from the bottom if it says honda. coz if it aint OEM that's your reason why they vibrate.

Even with new paint you should be able to see the OEM stamping on the bottom. I'd say you've been had.

Most people don't bother with smoothing something like that because OEM is ALWAYS better than knockoff sh!t like you are now experiencing. The PO wanted to hide the fact they weren't OEM. My .02.

aftermarket can't compete w/ OEM when it comes to quality. mirror vibrates coz of how low quality aftermarket parts are made. if indeed you have aftermarket hybrid side mirrors then you'll have to get used to vibrating mirrors. or put your OEM back on.

You never know man. Hell. He may not have known but I don't have that much faith in humanity. That's a topic for another discussion.

well back OT. if you wanna stop vibration. just fill the back w/ thick foam or whatever till it stops vibrating. or prolly get hold of OEM motor for the side mirrors and swap it so you have a sturdy, firm base. all i can think off.

Won't filling them with foam prevent them from being adjustable?

^^^ yes.

i have aftermarket side mirror on my odyssey. i took the thing apart and nothing is loose or broken inside. the problem is w/ the motor where the mirror mounts. it's not sturdy and firm. i've also read numerous posts on forums about vibrating mirrors on aftermarket sides.
