Footwell Red LED question

Hey V6p I had some red LED lights in my footwell that were awesome IMO. I had wired them to the ACC fuse and they were on whenever the car was on, i didnt like that. So i removed them. Im gonna give it another go, and thinking of wiring it to the seat warmer witch bulb. So when i turn the headlights on the LEDs will come on as well.

Is the seat warmer switch bulb 12V?

Heres a pic from awhile ago

Why not just wire it to a switch?

Because that would just be annoying. My switch will be the headlight stalk

Or tap into the glove compartment light and the sunroof switch.

Yes^
That looks nice.
I want blue ^_^
Where did you buy your lights and what did you need to run them?
I have like 3 kill switches for my radar, subs, and something else =p
I love how convenient it is!

I wired mine up to the ACC like you did and I personally love them. Just takes some getting used to at night.

See I want them wired to a door switch so when the door opens to get in or out they come on like the little lights in the lower part of the door. Id also like to get some iluminated strips down at the bottom (can't remember what they are called) and do the same thing with them. I want red too but maybe not as bright as yours. What setup did you use and where did you buy the parts?

I got mine on eBay. It was like $11 shipped. It is a self-adhesive flexible LED strip.

tap it into the headlight fuse, i've had mine like that for a couple years with no problems. that way it comes on when the headlights come on. i do however have a kill switch anyway though

How would I wire it to come on when the door opens?

Not sure if I would want one door to turn both lights on or just the side that opens. Input please? If anyone knows wiring and how I would do this please PM me.

The door itself since its easier, but if you could follow the wire back thru the tube thing, then go for it
