hybrid mirrors on a non hybrid

Can anyone tell me if you can get all the options to work? If so what is the best way to do this? I have the mirrors and I am wondering if there is any way to get the heated mirrors to work. I am thinking buying the switch and a cut harness. would this be all i need? Or is there more wires going to the swith for the heated mirror options? If anyone has done this please let me know the best way of hooking these up.

Thanks

Why not tie the heater mirror wire to rear defroster wire? That way it looks clean, & functions when you use rear defroster.

I was thinking that but could that over load it? I dont want to blow a fuse or cause a wire fire.

I have the Hybrid Mirrors on my coupe and all the functions work. What you have to do is cut the wires on the stock harness and wire in the wires from the hybrids into the wire that does that function on the stock harness. I hope that makes sense.

The way i figured it out was i took the wires on the hybrid mirrors and touched them individually onto my positive battery terminal to see if it was Heat,up and down, side to side, etc. Then i found the diagram somewhere of the stock mirror wires and just wired them into that particular wire.

Basically i cut the harness off the hybrids and swapped it with the harness from my stock lights and plugged it back in after i got the colors right.
