Wrapping car in vinyl...

Wow, it's been so long since I've logged on here that I forgot my password.

Anyway, quick question....has anyone here vinyl wrapped their car or know of a good vinyl to use?
More specifically which vinyls adhesive won't mess up the cars stock paint?
I'm thinking of doing this and thought I'd ask my fellow v6pers for any input.
Thanks!

Why don't you go to some shop and pretend to have them wrap the car so they can give you a quote and you can figure out what kind of vinyl they use?

Yea there's a lot of vinyl wrapping businesses. Try going to a sign shop, they're work is 90% vinyl, and asking them. As far as vinyl, true shops only use 3m, however whatever vinyl, it must be uv coated, or the sun will do some damage. Hope you know this isn't cheap. Ball park range is anywhere from $1500-2000
Edit: didn't even notice, but mind telling us what you want to wrap exactly? The whole car? There was a thread here recently where someone vinyl wrapped their roof.

I don't know how big you plan to wrap your car, but I'd love to see the result tho. Keep in mind that not every car looks good after the wrap lol I know a guy who has his Yaris wrapped for $1500 in Ft. Lauderdale area.
