With or without HFP kit

I have the front and rear HFP kit from my previous car (black 06 coupe), ready to be put on my current silver 06 coupe once it gets painted. However, lately I've really started to like how the car looks the way it is now. Just lowered, and no body kit. I decided I will add a factory style spoiler very soon, but does anyone out there like the look of the coupe better without the HFP kit? Or am I crazy? lol. Maybe its the different color, or the different wheels (I like the current ones better than the previous ones). I dont know. All I know is I have two big car parts taking up a lot of space in my apartment and I need to decide what to do with them soon. lol. I also dont really like how the tailpipes are not as noticeable with the rear lip. The dual tips is one thing that makes these cars sexy

I think it would look good with the front lip, but the rear is sexyyyy without it.

But def needs to be much much lower

that black is hot, always love black, but I love my graphite too.

You might enjoy this shot of my silver coupe with just the front lip. Just to give you a different view. I think everyone has to just decide for themselves what looks best to them.

I felt this way for a long time and was happy without the lip. Now after a few years I'm ready to give the front end a new look which the lip does very easily. I really like the contrast on the non-black 06-07 rear lip and have to say that I would definitely rock it if I had an 06-07 rear conversion. One thing I really don't care for is the 06-07 coupe trunk spoiler because of how it clutters the trunk. If you want to be adventurous, I'd mold the sedan lip on there. It's not easy but it looks the best.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to sell them. I could use the money for other goodies. The kit looks great, but it makes the car look bigger, and not as sleek, in my opinion. And of course there's the issue with the dual pipes that I dont like. If anyone lives in AZ and is interested, PM me

Kit or no kit, the cars look good either way. I personally love my HFP
kit.

I think these cars need to have at least the front lip on. I felt my car was so boring and round on the front end, then I got the front hfp lip and it totally transformed it into looking much more aggressive and finished. This thread made me go through my picture album and look at pictures of my car without the lip, brings back good memories of all the trips this car has taken me on. I love these cars.

OP, I agree with you about the rear lip; those dual tips need to be exposed to the public's eyes lol And don't get the spoiler, it doesn't flow with the sleek line of the coupe.

I agree about how the front looks without the lip. I think if I didnt have foglights, I'd want to add the lip. None of my previous Accords had foglights, and now I see how much of a cosmetic improvement it really is. The front doesnt look as boring. Without lights, there's not much there

I think without the kit the car is just too Plain. I don't like the HFP side skirts and im glad i didn't have those. But the Tip issue is a easy fix. Get under there undo the bolt holding them on and pull them outward and tighten them back. That's what i did to mine after the rear lip install. Takes all of 10 mins if that. I like the spoilers but i kind of prefer the wingless look.

I personally love my HFP full kit. I think it looks much better than stock. It customizes the car but not over the top like a lot of body kits. I think it looks too plain without it. But that's just my opinion. Everybody has different views of their own car.

I got mine from 1hondaparts website I think. It was $210 after taxes, and shipped. Came fully painted to my exact car color. Installed it in under 45 minutes without any help or experience.

I'm already lowered on Tein S-techs. Perfect drop. Lower than stock but not too low

I'm trying to get a hold of some 06-07 side skirts. They look soooo much cleaner than the HFP ones in my opinion. The 04 ones I have look bland.
