2006 sedan oem front bumper on a 2003 sedan

GUYS I HAVE DONE MY RESEARCH HOME WORK BUT WANT TO BE SURE.
Ok so I'm planing to do this conversion to my 2003 sedan just because my car was hit and I'm planing to repaint the complete car. Since my front bumper is kind of crack I though it would be a good idea to swap to a better looking front bumper but just wanna make sure I'm going the right route. So far I have come up with that the 2006 sedan front bumper will bolt right up with my 2003 sedan frame with out replacing the side bumper brackets. So what I need to buy to make this conversion happen is the 2006 oem front bumper, 2006 oem grille, not worried about the bottom grille. Some questions I have are do I also have to buy the foam impact absorber for the 2006 or my 2003 absorber will fit?do i have to buy the grille under hood cover or mines will fit? Also for the foglights is the wiring of the fogs different from the 2003 to the 2006 wiring process? Will I need to use the 2006 wiring diagram from honda to do the correct wiring to my 2003? Any input will help pls mostly on the fogs since I'm planning to do it myself. Thanks V6P...

Nobody has commented because the dead horse has been beaten to a pulp on this subject. Search a little bit harder and you will find your answers.

For the conversion, you need the 2006 bumper and upper grille. Lower grille is optional, but would still need to be the '06-'07 version. Same for the license plate holder. To be conservative, I would purchase the 2006 foam bumper support. It shouldn't be expensive.

For the fog lights, get OEM wiring harness and switch for the 2003-2005 models. The wiring harness for the 2006-2007 is different and will not work. Ask me how I know.

Also michael planning to roll all my fenders to add spacers for my tsx wheels which I know u ran before. Which spacer size will look better for front and rear 20mm 25mm? I think I remember u ran 25mmF 20mmR. Thanks sorry for all this dame questions...

Unsure on where you can get the OEM wiring harness (I bought a complete Inspire replica fog light kit with OEM wiring harness and switch off of the DA forums), but there are multiple sites (hondapartscheap.com, bernardiparts.com) that are likely to carry those parts in stock.

As for the spacers, I used Ichiba Version 2, 20mm front and 25mm rear. Hope that helps.

Sounds good! I read that you need to replace 2 side brackets, lic plate bracket etc to make the 06 bumper fit the 03. You didnt have to do that? My son just took out the bumper on his 03 sedan in a snow bank this morning. need to order a replacement. wanted to go with the 06 but cash is tight for him. cant afford any extras but the bumper for now. fit on no problem?

All you need is the 06 front bumper and 06 upper grille, the lower grille is optional but in my opinion i will purchase both grilles, also you can reuse your foam impact absorber. If your not installing fogs you will need fog covers. To get you and idea how much i spend was $100 on a 06 sedan OEM used front bumper from ebay,$40 for OEM used upper grille from chaz here in v6p,$25 aftermarket new lower grille from ebay,$70 for replica inspired fogs from ebay this fogs are optional. Hope this helps.

03-05 replica sedan oem front lip
Honda Accord Sedan 03 04 05 OE Style Front Lip Body Kit HFP 2003 2005 | eBay

06-07 replica sedan oem front lip
2006 2007 Honda Accord Sedan Front Lip HFP OE Style Body Kit | eBay

Make sure you pick the right lip that fits your bumper. I had to modify my 03-05 lip since i already owned it to fit my new 06 bumper.

Ordered in an aftermarket 2006-07 front bumper ($100.00) left inner fender liner ($38.00) and a used air box resonator ($75.00). Put it all together yesterday, reused the foam bumper absorber. Going to install a set of driving lights in the spring. Even got the '03 lic plate bracket to work for now, (till I order in and install the upper and lower grills and have it painted in the late spring). Overall, the '06 clip fit perfect, no diff than the '03 to '05 clip. Thanks for the info!!

I have a 2004 Accord EX also, will the conversions work also? I've looked and everyone messed with the 2003 more then the 2004, so does the 2003 and 2004 have any difference with each other ?

I cant see that there would any diff between the 03 and 04 models, as long as they are sedans (the coupes are different).

Hey 03 accord I've done the conversation from 04 to 06 sedan bumper, I had no problems I had to swap out the grille but that was a given now I'm stuck on the fogs, I have the same one you have but I was wondering if the installation is the Same as the oem ones

No it is not. Do a search on the forums here for inspire fog lights. You'll need to hack up the fog light housing on the inside of the bumper to make them fit.
