03 accord ex-l rear (sub) blew

hey guys. so for the life of me i cant find out the information i need. my driver side rear most speaker is blown. the sub? i guess you can call it. i do have the 180 watt system if that matters. Only one is blown but i guess i might as well replace both. just seeking answers as to what i should look for. i know theres different sizes etc. im just looking for an aftermarket replacement. thats obviously not too tall as i still want to use my trunk lol

It is a speaker, not a sub. Look for a 6x9 sized aftermarket pair. Crutchfield.com is a good place to start looking. It will tell you exactly which speakers will fit.

It's all good. If you do order from Crutchfield, they send you very detailed installation instructions so the install will be a breeze. Luck for you, the rear speakers are the easy ones to replace. Although if you look around, you can probably find the instructions on one of the forums somewhere.

Unless you plan on amplifying the system, don't buy a speaker with too high of a maximum RMS wattage rating. I'd say something 40 or so RMS watts.

Truth. I have Polk MM 6501 front and 691 rear. They sound good but are BEGGING for an amp. Which they will get. Soon.
