Weathertech Mat question

Hey guys I was looking at mats for my 7th Gen and saw a lot of people post searching for weather tech mats and I went to their website to order some of the digital cut ones, and they say they wont fit a manual coupe. I emailed them a week or 2 ago and no response yet, asking if it was just some trimming, or what the difference is. Does anyone know? I searched a few forums but could only see people with Automatics post they had these, the all weather, more aggressive looking ones fit, and saw those, but was more interested in the other ones.

Anyone know if they will fit or what needs trimmed?

Thanks

The weather techs will fit. Just went through the same struggle myself and I said eff it and bought them. They fit perfectly. The floor is exactly the same and the pedals don't even mess with the mat because they come from higher up the firewall. Weather tech will tell you they don't fit but that's because they've never tested them and don't want to say they will when they may not. But I can assure you they fit. Mine look amazing and it really adds to the car.

i made a thread about this a few months ago that confirmed they fit perfect. searching for it may have answered your question really easily.

Slightly off topic bc I have an ATV6. I got these mats as a christmas present and functionally they are great but the fitment is not as snug as it should be for "laser precision cutting". At the trunk/gas tank lever there is a gap and as anyone with OCD such as mine will tell you it can ruin your whole day. That being said, they don't slip or slide around and will trap gallons of water.

I the same issue on mine near the gas/trunk lever. I think I'm just going to cut my mat a bit.
