Fog/ Driving lights

Hey guys,

So I bought a set of Morimoto Matchbox retrofits to retrofit factory fogs, and that did not work well, the housings were almost completely gone, and I could not find a good way to seal the rear of the bulb/ plug area.

So... I am looking for some ideas. I did a Google search for the brightest driving/fogs and of course, EVERYONE says theirs are the brightest.. We all know thats not true... LOL

So I want to know if anyone had any ideas or suggestions, or experiences with any aftermarket fog or driving lights that they could share.

I upgraded my headlights to HID, then went With the new LEDs and they are bright as hell, almost like daylight on the pavement at night. I still want some lower beams for fog and rain/weather, etc.

Id prefer if I could replace the bulbs, maybe an H1 bulb or something that I could put a higher wattage LED in if they turn out not bright enough.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Chris

Sorry about the delayed response. I was looking to do a dual fog/ driving light setup, custom of course, but most of the ones I am looking at if I upgrade the bulb to an HID they say it may melt or warp the reflector.

I tried doing a retrofit with Morimoto matchbox to the factory fog housings, but that didnt work out well. (not enough material and no way to waterproof the rears I found)

I use h9 bulbs in my foglight 65w vs 55w and

Lumen
1760-2240lm for H9 (as much as hid)
1100-1400lm for H11

H11 to H9 conversion. DIY with temps - NASIOC
