HOW TO: Remove AIRBAG Warning Sticker from Visors

Tools: Goo Gone (prefer the new Spray Gel, way less mess esp. for this), Screwdriver, Flathead, Star Hex key (if you don't have this, a thick Flathead will do)

Step 1: with Flathead, pop off both White Vanity Light Covers. Remove Both 6641 bulbs by hand or paper. Wouldn't use any metals tools just in case since bulb is glass (excuse dirty visor, wanting to steam cleanall up top lining and wanted to do this first)

Step 2: Pop off Cover to show the 2 Screws w/Flathead or Star Hex Key. Before fully removing 2nd screw, hold in place because if you have lighted mirrors, there is a single Connector

Step 3: I use Goo Gone, the Fabric is very soft like most Visors but a bit more forgiving. If there was not Lighted Mirrors, basically you could soak it in like a 90/10 solution of water/goo gone or water/dishwasher soap solution and most Visors decals will peel off much more easily

For this, went w/100% Goo Gone because the smallest amount of liquid would be best since its lighted. Gently started from one side, it took about 5-10 mins. Wouldn't just peel it w/hands, grab a terry towel/paper towel, let it soak into the glue (mine turned from light grey to darker shade when it was ready to be peeled)

Step 4: Grab a couple paper towels and dab excess liquid, total time is about 15-30 mins. depending on how much vinyl/stickers you've removed in the past. As stated, the fabric for the Accord Visors are a bit forgiving but if you just try and yank it off, fabric will lift, get fuzzy, etc.

night time shots of Driver Side vs. Pass Side. (didn't have time to do both but will take daytime pics when both sides are finished). Its will get lighter once all excess liquid is removed w/paper towel or a good day in the sun
