What percentage window tint looks good?

It's getting hotter everyday and i really really need a window tint.. I can't really decide what percentage I want.
I don't really want 2 different shades of windows, so I'm thinking about going all same percentage for all windows.

I don't want to go anything less than 20% and anything higher than 35.. I think 35 is little bit too light?

Do you guys have any good pictures of a black accord at day time? how is it at night? I have black/black accord coupe and i don't want it to be toooooo dark on rainy days or at night. is there such thing as 25 or 30%?

how much is good for regular tint? I got quoted for so many different prices and I have no idea what is actually good..

anyone from GA that would like to recommmend places around marietta/atlanta?

thanks guys

My friend has a black beemer and we got 20's in the back and 35's in the front and its hot. Don't get it too dark in the front cuz in most states, like NJ, its illegal. The 20 on the back window looks real hot.

35 is like almost no difference? Um... Sure there is noticeable difference. (though it depends on which brand you use)

go for 20. 35 is completely see though, 20 is just a lil darker, nuthin like 5%, but its better, and if ya got a dark interior it makes it appear even darker

I say 5% all the way around but 20% would be a good compromise. I would actually go 5% on the rear and quarters and 20% on the sides. Unless it is in direct sunlight you won't really be able to notice the difference. I had 5% and 20% on my Prelude and you couldn't tell the difference if it was a cloudy day.

20% all around except for front windshield. I highly recommend 20% since it's a good compromise between dark and being able to see at night.

My black Accord Coupe w/ 20% tint

what's is the % in Cali for non legal? Anyway, I have 35% all the way and they are nice, I don't want too drack cause CA cops are anal about tinted window. IT's illgeal to tint the front windows but I just go ahead and did it. It's nice to have the same tint %.

It's illegal to tint the front windows in CA, but you can have whatever % you want in the back.

I was actually hoping to get 25, but they didn't have it or something. I just got 20 instead. I love everything except i can't see at night when i back out of my driveway!!!

When you guys tinted your back windshield, what did they do with the top part that has lil dots that are about 3inches tall one?

I just left it blank, I didn't want to have any white or spots on it..
I paid 240.. lil high than any other places.. but seems like a good place to do it.

I got my full rear window tinted. I am going to see how it comes out after it is fully dried and cured so I can decide if I want to do a visor or something back there.

I did 5% on everything except the driver and passenger side windows (those are 35%) and a 9 inch 5% sunband and I have no problems seeing out at night.

I'm gonna get 5% limo on the back window, 20% on the sides, and 50% on the entire windshield. Dark enough to look nice and kill 90% of the sunlight, but not dark enough to get hassled by too many cops.

Does the tint shop normally remove the 3rd brake light to tint behind it? Wondering if they'll know how to take it out or if i should do it myself before bringing it in.

Most good shops will know how to do it, but not all will do it if you dont ask.
