Ya mine does that and you can sometimes see it through a crack in the glove box door.

Hey my glovebox used to have a lil crack and you can see light coming out of it. But i had the dealer fix the latch on my glovebox cuz i had to slam my glovebox to close it. So if you have to put force to close your glove box, i think that your latch is a little loose.

The bulb is held on by a socket and you have to push on it to unlock it. The hard part is putting the socket back in position. Offtopic: I guess it's a good idea to tap into the glove compartment light for interior neon lights since it turns on with parking lights huh.
