What brand audio battery to buy?

I was looking for a audio battery for my car to replace the stock one since i have a 600w rms kenwood amp and a 200w rms sony amp hooked up to my car, and i'm still using my stock alternator. My question is which to buy and what model. Does anyone know/have a deep cycle have any suggestions? here is what i gathered.

stinger spv44
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

they list the 2003 accord for i4 but i have a v6 does it matter?

Thanks ahead for your help

You can use the yellow top optima. Several people on here have it. :-)

alright, i called the ebay company that sells the battery and the model in the link above does fit, but i looked at the dimensions and it seemed a little to small for an accord battery and more like a civic, so the sales person looks up the info again and says there actually is another battery for our model which is the d35 yellow top. So i ordered that one instead.
i'll tell how fitment goes when i receive it.

I've got an Optima yellow top in my V6, been in there for 2 years now. In fact I've used this battery for about 7 years altogether - no BS! Had it in my 91 coupe for a year then put it in my 99 coupe and finally it's in the 03 sedan. It doesn't quite fit in the battery tray exactly but it does fit. Can't go wrong with an Optima!

I'm not sure about the battery model yet. Once the snow stops (supposed to get up to 30" over the next 12 hours) I'll check it out and get back to ya. Suspension wise I've got the HFP kit on the car, but only on the front. The weight of the stereo system in the trunk is taking care of the rear. The Honda tech measured the drop before/after and it ended up about 1+1/4 inches in the front.

The Optima Blue is for Marine, but I guess a battery is a battery. Does it fit better than the yellow or red would in our cars?

Any reason for purchasing the Blue top instead of the red or yellow? Just curious.

the blue top also has two extra battery posts on it(4 all together). So i guess it could be used for your future accessories?

Super old thread ... but does anyone else have comments on what size batteries will fit, specifically 4cyl 7th gen? Is the battery tray the same as the v6?

I need a yellow top, and trying to see if I can fit over a d51r ... thanks!

HONDA 2004-2003 Accord: L4 2.4L
YEL51R 500 Optima 51R

I couldn't find one for the V6 on their site, but I'm not sure. Give Optima a call and they will let you know which one will fit.
