Has anyone swapped in blue sideview mirrors?

I believe the JDM Inspire (current US Accord) and JDM Accord (US TSX) both have blue tinted sideview mirrors like the MDX and TL here. I'm looking to get a set of the blue tinted glass (not the entire assembly like BPT carries) and was wondering if anyone has done this swap, and where they found the glass?

i wanted to do this too, but i dont know which mirror glass would fit into our housings. i was thinking the closest would be TL, but i cant get anyone to post a picture of their mirror at acurazine. (you can see my thread in the galleries section of the TL, with no replies... )

also note that the coupes have a different style mirror holder and actuator. they are the same as the Japan built sedans. the US built sedans appear to have the same acutator as the TL, so it should just clip right on....

I'm pretty sure both the JDM Inspire and JDM Accord Euro-R will work, but I can't find the part #, nor do I know where to get it even if I could find the part.

I'm looking for the glass, I'm sure those side mirrors are pretty expensive.

Why don't you buy some light blue tint and just put it on? I am more than sure that you will get the same effect, it will be easier to do, and it will be much cheaper. I am more than sure that there are a lot of shades of blue. You can probably find one that is the same shade as the one you are looking for. If you do, just buy some good brand tint so it lasts.
Its just a suggestion if you only want the mirror glass.

Yeah .. I was thinking to do a blue tint on my mirrors ..
Only thing is that I couldn't find the right one .. all I found was a 35% blue tint
I think 35% vis is a bit too dark .. I need something around 60-80% blue tint

Anyone know where to get some other blue tint?

You are right.
Maybe you can try this type of paint. I don't know how light it will come out.

If you have your own paint gun, or know someone that does, just mix up some clear coat paint with a few drops of blue paint to get the color you are looking for. Then just paint your mirrors. I don't know how clear it will come out, but you can try it out on a piece of glass.
Just a suggestion.
