yeah man, there's no such thing.

I am a very strong believer of "you get what you pay for"

you pay for cheap tint, you'll get cheap tint, simple as that.

do yourself a favor and ask around and make sure you find a good place.

Expect to spend $110 for all your windows.

It's something that you will not regret.

Also, make sure they have a warranty on them. If anything ever goes wrong with my tint, they replace it for free.

Window tint DOES in fact fade over time. But, it is a function of the quality and type of tint that you choose. Some years ago, when dyed tint was pretty much the norm, fading occurred after 3-5 years. Tint nowadays is metal-based or at least contains a mix of metal. That helps to retard the fading effects of the sun. As mentioned, you should inquire as to what brand tint the shop uses and then research that brand as to its quality and composition.

The last time I got tint the shop said specifically to not use Glass Plus to clean the tint, the ammonia makes it fade. Use alchohol based cleaners instead.

Previously I had a car with 20% 3M tint all around, and in 5 years it faded too about 35% and rather mottled looking. I didnt know about the Glass Plus thing and thats what I was using, or if it was just because of time.

Yea get your windows lined.
My passengers side has some pretty thick scratches in it, and now my drivers side has 1 big one right down the middle.
