yup how you guess it was from Home Depot ..I guess it would be easier to put in the back of the bumper but than you have to take teh bumper out which shouldn't take that long to do

look all right.... I have some ideas for you though.

OK. Here what you could do. Take them off. Remove the front bumper... (its not hard) Go from the back with a dremel, and cut out the factor mouth gaurd, and "foglight" area. Then, put the mech in from the back, bend it down tight to the inside of the bumper, and use some kind of epoxy to hold it the inner bumper. check it: I sill haven't decide what kind of mech i'll use. I like the kind on the Cadilac CTS-V...

That's what I hope to do eventually. I will probably buy the Grillcraft grills, remove the plastic from the center and side vents, and cover with the grills.

^lol seriously, can't see how you could mistake that for black.

That car looks similar to mine, I don't like the mesh grill behind the stock grill, looks kinda ehh.

Here's a pic of mine:

I didn't DIY on mine because my car was in the shop being repaired, so they just put it on for me.

no no, I meant I was in an accident where the front was all messed up.

So, the shop ordered the hood and bumper, and I ordered the Black Housed Headlights, Grillcraft Grill, and the Front Lip and brought it to them and they put it all together.

The mesh looks GREAT behind the Honda wing, but I'm not diggin' the mesh on the lower part. Is it silver or black? I think it's a bit too shiny. Maybe use some paint, to flatten the color and make it darker.

whatever grill comes out for the upper section, it's gonna look ugly because of that dip in the middle.

^yeah.... what he said

however there is nothing they can do to fix that shy of making a new bumper cover.

I just blacked (Dark charcoal metalic - including the "H") mine out yesterday.. waiting for it to dry (and find time and stuff) and reinstall. i"ll post some pics when I have time

It's silver, the way the mesh is made is has an angle to it, the way I installed the angle is towards the top, so it looks solid if you look downwards it makes it look solid and shiny, I been playing with the idea to turn it 180 that way it would look darker, I will post another pic when I get a chace to do it.

do you have to remove the bumper in order to install the 3 piece lower bumped grillcraft kit? its so hot, but i just cant bring myself to drop $200 on it... dammit

and no, you cant have a license plate with it, the plate frame screws are about 1.5'' inside where the grill would be

I was pissed at first! Too funny!

Anyways, yeah there is a difference. The grille-tech, as shown in the link, is held on by zip ties, whereas the Grillcraft grills are drilled in. My personal preference is for the more rigid drilled-in method, but that's just me. I'm sure there are those very happy with the Grille-Tech grill though.
