where do u guys put license plate?

i recently went to the dealership to get my 30,000k checkup and i had requested for them to put the license plate off to the side and not directly in the middle.... ended up tehy put it right smack in the middle...they said it had something to deal with the airbag sensors in the front bumper but ive seen plenty of people have it off to the side.... whats up? now i cant move it cuz ill have holes in the middle...

they drilled into the front of your bumper?? make them give you a new bumper, they are not supposed to drill into it to install the license plate. its supposed to have a plastic bracket/holder thing for the plate (and FYI, the bracket only fits in the middle)

When I got my front repaired, they didn't put on the front license plate, and that's how I wanted it.

It would cover half of my girll, looks a lot better without the plate.

I'm probably going to get a fix-it ticket sooner or later, so far so good.

ur ghetto!

i like mine...and yeah they should not have drilled in ur bumper....ask them and demand them to give u a new bumper. thats bs, unless they asked if it was ok to drill holes, since our bumpers are allowed to put on the license plate with out drilling....just the 2 bottom bolts on the bumper.

Just take it off! looks so much better, Yeah those pricks drilled a hole in mine!, u think if i went there they would give me a new bumper? they would probably tell me to go f myself. right? I mean theres a hole right in the center of my bumper, only one. My a4 had 4 huge holes so im not so upset about one small hole, alose the car is black u cant notice it as if it were white. But honesty if i go to honda and ask them for a new bumper cause they drilled in mine would they do it? Has some one done this?

I used to always have it off, but after too many fix it tickets, I said "Forget looks, I don't need any MORE reasons for a cop to pull me over." I've been hassle-free for 2 1/2 years.

Here in NC.. you don't have a front plate Luckily.. since I got my car in NJ.. the factory mounting location for the plate is under the bumper.. I was affraid of having holes myself.

the only way not to get a fix it ticket it to put it on the bumper....they will give u a ticket for n e thing else.....and plus if u dont have a front license plate its a gay ass reason to pull u over....last summer i got pullled over for no front plate....i ended up on the side of the street with my hands on my head for 30 mins while they searched my car....very gay...they pulled me over for my plate, but thought they smelled someting funny....ended up with no front plate, and intake/exhaust emissions ticket....just keep it on, no matter how un cool or cool it looks.

^LOL, damn that sucks man.

Yeah, I agree, you give the cops a reason to pull you over, next thing you know you're getting a tint ticket, an exhaust ticket, what have you.

Oh well, I'm just gonna wait till I get one then, like I said so far so good, bike cops are the worst, those pricks are the ones i'm really afraid for. Talk about cops that serve NO GOOD for society, fckin bike cops.

I dont have mine on, and its been like that for a few years now and no problem as of yet. Had cops follow me and did nothing about it. Although my front bumper is all jacked up and is chipping paint like crazy.

got mine in my glovebox, didnt get pulled yet... i heard some ppl just tell the cops that their car didn't come with a place to mount it. plus there are plenty of cars that don't have their front plates on, fixed up or not fixed up.
