Factory XM with New Headunit HELP!?

Alright I want to get a new headunit and run new component speakers with probably 2 10 in subs, but I have a couple questions. I have an 04 EX 6-Speed Coupe with the DVD player installed in the glove box and the screen in the little cubbyhole. So I don't have the option to put the new headunit in the cubbyhole so I guess I'm going to have to replace the in dash 6 disc. But what I need to know is, is there a kit out there to relocate my dual climate controls, if yes how much is it and where can i get it, question 2 is how is the XM hooked up with the factory 6 disc in dash changer, is the reciever behind it or is it hooked in to the factory headunit, askin because I want to know if I can get a XM compatible headunit and run it with the factory hardware (reciever and antenna) that came with it or do i need to but a whole new XM kit. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

if you replace the headunit, you will loose the automatic dual zone climate control. the metro 2 kit out there (which IMO is the ugliest thing in the world) converts it to a manual single zone climate control. i'm not sure exactly how the factory XM is wired. it connects to the factory headunit by the CD changer/AUX port, if that helps...

Yea that is what i figured...i think i am going to go with a CD player with a detatchable face and mount the controls in the spot for the sunglasses holder and then put the player or changer somehwere else....ive seen one person do that and it looked really good...sounds like that might be the best option...if anyone knows who that was that did it id love to know to ask them bout it...
