Opinions on Sedan w/ front lip.

What does everyone think about JUST the front lip on the sedan, does it look "off" or good? I personally like the look, just wanna see what others think. I'm not gonna get a full kit is the thing.

LOL, sure you won't....haha

That's what we all say dude, yes, even me, I said it.

You WILL, not maybe, WILL end up getting the rest of the kit, cause it just looks that much better. Maybe not now, but later on.

I currently have just the front lip on my Coupe (side skirts and rear was shipped today) and I love how it looks, so I'm sure just the front lip on the sedan will look nice too.

Look in the Sedan picture thread, someone is bound to have just the front lip.

Well I have the sedan with JUST the front lip...but only because they don't make a full OEM body kit!

here's a pic

ive seen em, just wanted opinions. Nah, im not gettin full kit, i dont think you can go oem for sides and rears on sedan anyway. And im not goin full aftermarket kit, dont like the looks of aftermarket kits. On my coupe however, i'd like to get full OEM kit, justa matter of justifying it.

the oem kit on the 4dr looks better than the coupe...its more suttle...i would def get the 4 door with only the front oem lip....its hot. i saw one in person and it doesnt look off at alll...better yet it makes it look more level....with the right drop of course.

Wait a sec Accord03, it sounds like your saying that an OEM full body kit exists for the sedan? There is ONLY a front OEM lip that is available, no side or rear skirts. If there was, I'd buy it in a second. Of course, the coupe has the full kit as everyone knows.

I was personally think of using the kaminari side and rear only, with my OEM lip. The front lip for the kaminari is way too aggressive looking for the sedan.

King, you can the rest of my pics on my website at www.henrylee.ca/cars.html

yeah i sold him that modulo lip because i plan on gettin the mugen. The modulo kit does come full for the sedan. i have a coupe soo cant work there. but heres a pic of the Modulo on a Inspire and on my car. Its similiar to the OEM lip for the sedan. but the line on it is higher and more defined.

yes ur correct there is only the front lip...thats what i was talkin about...i was trying to say stock kinda looks uneven to me...the front llooks a lil bit higher than the sides....so the front lip should even it out.

After checkin it out, i agree. Ordered mine today from local dealer. They met cheaphondaparts price, plus tax.

I have been looking into getting the OEM front lip and getting the sides and rear from someone else, but so far I have found nothing I like better than the mugen.
Can you give me an insight about getting the mugen parts (sides and rear).

II haC
Let me know how the modulo lip install goes, I'm assuming you are installing it on your stock (US) bumper, not doing a conversion like 7thGenVilain, I'm really interested on the outcome. If it fits with no modification I would definitely like to get it over the OEM one.

gotta bump this thread up--

is the picture of the "front lip" actually a lip or just a front spoiler-- the dealership where i purchased my car from has an "OEM Front Spoiler" for the 2005 Accord sedan for $309.75 + $93 to install.

what do you guys think?

I've got a sedan with just a front lip. Looks WAYYY better in my opinion, more aggressive, but suttle. The front bumper looks kinda naked with out it now whenever i see other accords. Its the front lip, they just call it the front underbody spoiler. $309 is how much i paid for mine but i didnt have them install for me. Me and my friend installed it. $93 is ridiculous. It consists of drilling two holes on each side in the back of the bumper where it touches the fender and then putting in screws where those holes are and clips/adhesive where needed. You dont have to worry about where to drill the holes cause theres already 4 indentations where you are supposed to drill...sorry, didnt mean to write an essay.

here are some crappy night shots of my car

I think you should get the front lip from Hardtopguy (probably for less than $250) and install it yourself. That's what I did! Save ya about $150...... and then put that towards another mod (Injen CAI - hint, hint).

hey you guys, thanks so much for the great feedback. this website, unlike so many others, actually has knowledgable people who treat your questions with respect.

thanks for all of the input and pictures. i'm thinking for my '05 sedan im going to go with the front lip and save up money to buy the Kaminari back bumper and side skirts etc.

definitely going with the front lip now though..

hey guys is this the same item that this website is selling?

http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/cust...&cat=64&page=1

the picture given doesnt really match up to the one's here.. but if it is, it's much cheaper than buying it in person at my dealership because over there it's $309

Yea, the front lip looks friggin awesome, but the only reason I havent added it to my car is because I have the full bra... it wont fit, the clips wont go all the way over and around the lip to hook up, at least I dont think they will
