undecieded???

Yeah, so I have a black car with black rims. I just recently put the rims on. Anyway I was wondering if I could get all of your opinions on what color to paint my calipers? My friend at work is suggesting red but I am really worried about it contrasting too much with the blackout theme I have going.

RED or BLUE!

I prefer blue cuz most common color for aftermarket brakes is red

gold is on G35.. maybe it'll look good on ours?

blue is somethin new

Gold might be a good idea, wouldn't stand out, and it's different enough from black to be a good contrast.

Try yellow. Black and yellow go great together.

yea, yellow also adds 10 RHP (ricehorsepower)

personally, id go with red accenting IMHO- red brakes, redo the tailight tint so its only the center stip and you have the red lighthousing, blackhoused headlights, maybe red LED's in the doors, red accents under the hood? top it off with a red v6p.net sticker (10 dynoproven HP). haha

yea i get carried away, but i love the black/red combo- just check the z06 on page 3 of my cardomain

LOL @ RHP

ahahhaahha

I'd say don't mess with them, but I like the Gold though like on G35's as someone previously mentioned.

RHP, that's good! I like how you quantified it to 10 units of RHP. What would get you say 75 RHP?

Yeah, Im saving all my stickers so I can add them all at the same time and get a huge gain!!! 100rhp or more.... you guys are crazy. I actually painted them red this weekend I will post pix as soon as the weather clears up here on L.I. I think the red looked really good. If it didn't turn out good I was gonna try black. But I think the red fits nicely. later

I wanted to do the same thing on my 04', but decided not to because I did it on my 94' and after 3 years it started to rust a bit. Its cool if you don't mind painting them again.

While you were at it, I hope you cleaned up or pained the surface where the wheel mounts with the bolts. I know on my car (and many other accords) after I changed the wheels you could see the rusted part.

75 RHP?!? man, now your talking about getting into the fully non-functional hood scoops, chinese lettering on a chevy, and maybe... just maybe, a home-made spoiler.

if you want to stay with the black theme, definitely gold... yellow, red and blue has too much contrast and will be too noticeable... you want a dark colour not rich and bright ones... so gold is the way to go...

In my opinion... I would pick a dark BLUE or a GRAY to keep the "stealth" look i guess u can say... I haven't seen gray so I would try it. Actually I might do it on mine when i get my gun metal wheels
