Talking Tinted Taillight Pink Strip RED?

I know a lot of people are tinting their tails black / smokey or whatever. But has anyone tinted it so the pink strip so it's red and matches the rest of the taillight?

yeah, mQike has, and I love it, and I think that's exactly how it should be done if touched at all.

you know what dude, I'm going to do it. It's a nice little mod that's sets your Accord apart from others.

mQike, when you get a chance, let me know how you did yours, 'preciate it.

I would definately like to know too. I'm sure it's just a strip of tint, cut really cleanly, but my question is, what kind of tint and what kind of exact "color" did you use?

IMHO the red looks much better than the smoked. This could be a future mod. Would like a little more input from those who have done it....................Please.

well...i didnt use the tint thing, i got a can of red taillite spray paint and just covered up the other part of the taillites with masking tape and covered around some parts of the car w/ newspaper in case any speckles fly. den just spray litely on the pink part...not too close, u just want the little speckles to go on because if ur too close, it'll overspray. like 3 or 4 coats worked fine for me. but u guys can do that tint stripe thing if u want, i just like the way the spray paint blends in..

wow those pics brings back old memorys lol...use Transparent 'Red' Vinyl (gloss will last up to 7 years/does a more cleaner professional job also) but its more harder to find...call up your local sticker/vinyl sign shops to see if they have them in stock. using Transparent hobby Spray will fade after a couple months and is nearly impossible to remove once 'clear coated'

i wouldnt recomend using the tint film they use on windows and stuff...use transparent red vinyl that they use for stickers/signs etc...its alot more durable and the gloss will last up to 7 years. shouldnt be expensive...this is a pretty cheap mod to do compaired to other stuff.

Question? Whats so great about this? I can't see backing up as it is with my 35% tints. Wouldnt this make it worst?

this will make it worse...far worse. for some apparent reason, black tint will actually show the white light. but when you put on red tint[35%] you lose almost 50% of the lighting.

That Pink strip needs to be tinted. all 7th gens should smoke the whole tail, or tint it red
