Graphite painted calipers [pics]

Did them today. Used my air tools to sand them and it worked out nicely.

Mine were the same color for a while, then I dumped the axxis pads- Damn those things would make everything dirty!! Ha!

Looks good to me...I like slick, low key DIY projects.

I'm using stock calipers, brembo slotted and dimpled rotors with hawk hps pads. My setup works very nicely. I also have the injen rd cai, bridgestone potenza tires, hfp suspension, painted grille, lower mesh grill (diy), leather shift boot, soundgate, and i think those are all the major mods.

How do you like the HAWK pads..... I'm in need of new pads at 30K and was thinking of putting a set of those on with my STOCK calipers and rotors. Do you think it will improve the braking? Will I notice the increased stopping power with just the pad upgrade?

These brake pads are great. I have noticed an increase in stopping power and also how fast the brakes react. This could be because of my rotors though

well it was pretty simple. first, i jacked up the car and took the wheels off. second, masked off the rotor, lines, and pads. next, grinded down the caliper with my air tools and finaly painted it and waited for it to dry.
