i think its more of an illusion the oem kit gives that makes the car look lower to the ground and tilted forward, but realistically has the same clearance as stock. i dont know, am i the only one that thinks the kit is ugly? i think the front looks great, but they could have done a better job with the sides and back IMO. makes the car look heavy and bigger than it is. .

without the kit, the nose of the car tapers toward the front. The lip kit levels it out.

to be honest

oem kit > *

It's just the perfect look I think, nothing too out there or ricey, just right in my opinion, everything looks great to me.

oh ya, i totally agree with you, i think the front lip (which i really like) does in fact level it out, the back lip is OK, but the sides are wierd looking, would have looked better if they evened them out IMO, the way it tapers off towards the back of the car is my biggest complaint.

even though the car is on level ground, it looks like its parked on a slight downgrade, and thats WITH the stock suspension. it will be even more prominent, on springs that drop the front lower than the rear to even wheel gaps like h-techs, s-techs etc,...

i dont think the kit looks ricey at all,... just not my cup of tea. everybody else and there mother likes these kits, but me. i just havent seen anybody post their opinion on why they dont like them.

it replaces the side skirts, not an addition like the front and rear.

i was skeptical about the way the side and rear would look on my car too...but once i saw it in person, those pictures you see online still doesn't look good but in person, it really does match well. you should try to find somebody around you that has it on, it might change your opinion.
