it simple.. he is engaging in vendor-like activity, which requires vendor contract with v6p and pays a monthly fee for such status. if a vendor wants to take advantage of this community (as its target audience for marketing/sales/promo/etc), they should do their part and support the operation of the site.

7thGenVillain.. I am not going to kill this thread, but this is your final warning.

inspire headlights

I just got done putting Inspire headlights in my 2004 Accord sedan. I think it has been said before but the low beam is D2S HID. The stock turn signal sockets with bulbs don't fit. I used 2004 TL sockets which use 7443 bulb and those fit into the housing but didn't turn to lock in place. For the High beam, the stock 9005 bulbs and sockets work fine. For the city light.... I don't know. I ordered a set of jdm city light sockets like those from civics and integras and hopefully those work. I used S2000 HID caps to cover the big hole on the back of the headlights but had to cut those a bit to get them to fit since they are slightly different size. I used 2005 TL ballasts and bulbs but the ballast itself doesn't mount up to the mounting holes on the headlight (couldn't find ballasts that did) so I mounted them on the car. Hope that helps.

I must say, it was a long process but they look great and I have already had a few compliments after only a couple days.

low beam on the headligths are d2r, all reflector based hid headlights use d2r bulbs(d2s with a little shild on the bulbs).

You would think so but these actually do use a D2S bulb. How do I know? I actually have the light! Its a really cool setup.... you can't actually see the bulb in the reflector because it has shields. The light is actually reflected off the sides of the housing and out to the road. Very cool look. I will see if I can find my charger for my digital camera and post some pics.

I am talking about hid headlights that come from factory. They all come with d2r bulbs, and d2s and d2r are pretty much the same bulb. They are interchangeable.
