2003 Accord Concept black chrome headlight

I'm thinking of painting my headlights' clear shell to black chrome / light smoke color so that they look like 2003 Accord Concept headlights. I found this spray paint:

What do you guys think about it? Has anyone tried to do this yet?

I thought as long as the amber strip on our headlight still reflective and light could go through the shell, it should be okay?

I forget what the concept's headlights looked like. Do you have a picture to refresh my memory?

those arnt just blackhoused? the actual lens doesnt look tinted if thats what ur talkin bout.

But yeah the inside you can paint black with no problem, about 90% of the 7gens have that done on this site. As far as the amber strip, no one i know of has gotten in trouble for taking it out or having a clear one. It looks OEM so cops dont mind, notice, nor care...they're too busy serving and protecting by pulling people over for tinted windows and no front plates

The concept lenses look black chrome.. I think the only way to achieve that look would be to use that spray tint on the chrome housing.. not the lens. I'm sure it would stick about as well as the clear lens would. It's not a bad idea though.. I am still trying to decide whether I want to crack open my stock headlights or not.. cause I will be really pissed if they do get f'd up! Let us know if you have any success. Oh, on a side note.. I have tint spray that I got through Keystone that was like $7 a bottle.. not $24! I'm not sure what their website is, but I know that you cab order stuff through most local shops from there.

you should do like the 03 cl-s does, those smoked (housing) not lens or glass cover, look hot.
