ID3 tags on stock HU from Ipod?

Is there ANYWAY possible to get the track information on the display from the ipod?

This is possible...

If you use the icelink and the soundgate together...it should act as acd changer...and will display the ID3 tag info then...and can control the ipod from the head unit.

People have done this...

I bought an ipod for this purpose..and have not done it yet...soon.

No, it won't display ID3 tags on the stock HU. I have the IceLink. It came with a soundgate adapter (or equivelant). It does act as a CD changer though. The directions outline all of this.

Hey, if u can do it, tell me exactly how and show pics of the finished install with the ID3 tags on the display.

I have the icelink plus (no soungate adaptor just one longer module) and I can definiately say that it does not show any info on the stock unit. It does however increase the font size on the ipod like crazy so that you can see if you mound it properly.
