Exclamation Accord Security

Now that I have spent more $$$$ on my Accord I am getting more concerned with security. I have a alarm but is that enough ? I park my car in my drive way.... it can be easily taken....What do you guys do ? ?

LoJack adds a nice layer of security to the alarm you already have.

Have any idea on the $$$ involved ? I was just checking out some driveway security items that look promising but lojack may be the way to go...

if they really want it, they will get it no matter what. LoJack would make it easier to find if someone does steal it. but remember, they wont be able to drive off with you car, they'd have to tow it.

I use the Auto Lock that goes on your brake in your car.
Works fine for me, if thieves want to and have the time to hack that off they deserve it....
The thing is like pure steel...

Try getting one of those lights that go on when it senses movement. Put it in front of your garage where it will light up the whole driveway for a good 15 minutes or more. Thieves don't like bright lights! Also...make sure your insurance coverage is up to date.

the insurance idea is the best policy, no matter what you do if a thief wants it bad enough he will get it.

I think thats the plan a motion detector.....They have those cool ones that have the sensor on one spot and the light on another......Just going to have to run some wire.....no big just another thing to do on list....maybe I'll do some landscape lighting and one on the lights can be a flood light......I guess I'll have to think of something........thanks for the ideas all

A problem with the Auto Lock is that some thieves freeze the metal and then hit it with a hammer, shattering the locking mechanism to pieces. Layered steel plating around the lock would reduce this problem.

True, but the more deterrents you add, the less appealing your car becomes to thieves.
